About Dr. Samarth Gupta
Dr. Samarth Gupta is a leading Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon at the Apollo Athenaa Women’s Cancer Centre, Delhi, with a dedicated focus on autologous breast reconstruction for women recovering from breast cancer. He is also the Co-owner of The Chelmer Clinic, a premier dermatology and plastic surgery clinic in Delhi, offering cutting-edge aesthetic care in collaboration with top specialists.
Dr. Gupta has received advanced training at prestigious institutions in India and the United Kingdom, including the renowned St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Chelmsford, and brings a global standard of excellence to his practice.
Advanced Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction Fellowship – St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns
Dr. Gupta completed a microsurgical breast reconstruction fellowship at the esteemed St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Chelmsford, UK—one of Europe’s busiest and most advanced microsurgery units. There, he gained extensive experience in complex autologous breast reconstruction using techniques such as DIEP, TUG, and other perforator flaps, with a strong emphasis on precision dissection, vessel anastomosis, and aesthetic outcomes. He also brings expertise in managing complex secondary reconstructions, particularly in patients with prior surgeries or radiation therapy.
Aesthetic Fellowship at Cadogan Clinic
He completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Cadogan Clinic in London, where he trained under internationally renowned experts in advanced procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty, and other minimally invasive cosmetic surgeries. In addition, he participated in the ISAPS Mentor Program, gaining further exposure to cutting-edge aesthetic techniques through observerships with leading plastic surgeons in Italy, enhancing his global perspective and refined approach to cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Samarth Gupta has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, CMEs, and workshops, both as a presenter and organizer.
He has delivered lead talks and presented multiple research papers at prestigious forums such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM), Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), and the Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery (APFSRM).
He has hosted live cadaveric dissections and operative workshops on advanced surgical anatomy and flap techniques, contributing significantly to surgical education and training. Recently, Dr. Gupta served as national faculty at BRASCON 2024, moderated live surgeries, and presented lead talks at the 6th APFSRM Congress held in Delhi in March 2024.
